What we collect, what we don't, and what happens when you click an affiliate link.

The short version
We do not have accounts, we do not sell data, and we do not run advertising networks on this site. The only personal information we ever hold is what you type into the contact form and send us.

We do not collect payment information, because we do not take payments. We do not run newsletters, so there is no mailing list to be on.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. Google sets cookies to do that and processes the data on its own terms. We see aggregate reports; we do not attempt to identify individual readers and have no tools to do so. Browser-level tracking protection, an ad blocker or Do Not Track will stop most or all of this, and nothing on the site breaks if you use them.
Affiliate links
Buy buttons here pass through a link on this domain and then redirect to Amazon. That redirect adds our Associates tracking tag to the destination URL so Amazon can attribute a purchase to this site. Amazon then sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We never receive your name, address, payment details or the contents of your order — only aggregate commission reports. See the affiliate disclosure for how the commercial side works.
Contact form
Submissions are delivered to our inbox by email. The form also checks for automated submissions using a hidden field, a timing check and a per-address rate limit — none of which store anything about you beyond the duration of the request. We use what you send us to reply and for nothing else, and we do not add you to any list.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. The cookies present on this site come from Google Analytics and, after you click a buy button, from Amazon. Blocking third-party cookies leaves the site fully functional.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you — realistically it is either nothing or an email you sent us.
- Ask us to delete your message from our inbox, and we will.
- Block analytics with your browser or an extension. Nothing here depends on it.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
