Here it is outclassed: everything above has either an 80-hour reserve, a published service price, or both.

And 9.1mm is not a strap size. The bracelet is structurally part of the watch, so Citizen is your only source for the component most certain to wear out over decades.

Sapphire and an in-house automatic for the money is genuinely rare. The catch is structural: Citizen lists the lug width as 9.1mm, which means the bracelet is the watch. When it wears out, no strap shop can help you.

The 80-hour reserve, and why it matters on a dress watch specifically

A dress watch is by definition not your daily wear. A 40-hour movement therefore spends most of its life stopped, and every outing starts with setting the time and date.

80 hours changes that: put it down on Friday evening and it is still running on Monday morning. It is the single most practical difference between this tier and the one below, and it has nothing to do with how long the watch lasts.
